The Enham Team Ministry

(Parishes of Knights Enham and Smannell with Enham Alamein)

Existing St. Paul’s Church Centre, Smannell Road

St. Paul’s Church Centre

Welcome to St. Paul’s – a Church Centre at the heart of the community.  Since 1982, this hall has served the Parish of Knights Enham, providing community facilities that are constantly used by community groups, and, along with St. Michael and All Angels, Knights Enham, as a Church of England place of worship in the centre of the Parish.

In recent years, there has been a growing need to improve these facilities, and demand for their use far exceeds capacity.

Our vision is to provide a new Church and Community Centre on this site that will be for years to come:

  • an inspiring place of worship for the 12,000 people who currently live in the parish, and for the residents of the several hundred new homes on Augusta Park
  • a multi-purpose community facility providing a variety of rooms that can be simultaneously used by different groups.
  • A place of meeting where people can gather in well-equipped, modern surroundings

The current building will be completely refurbished and re-ordered, and new buildings added to it, including an extra hall, meeting rooms, and Church and meeting area. We seek to complement the facilities that already exist in the area, and to be a community focus in the heart of the estates, and in the Parish of Knights Enham, that the Church has served for over 900 years.

Project Prayer……….

O God, the Creator and Giver of all good things;

Thank you for the gifts you have given us through the years.

Bless our vision, and pour your wisdom and guidance upon us.

May all that we do inspire and serve the community,

And witness to your love and presence amongst us.

Grant us the spirit of faith and generosity,

that all our endeavours may be in your name and to your glory.

This we pray through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen
