Collect for Today

Almighty God,

who alone can bring order

to the unruly wills and passions of sinful humanity:

give your people grace

so to love what you command

and to desire what you promise,

that, among the many changes of this world,

our hearts may surely there be fixed

where true joys are to be found;

through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,

who is alive and reigns with you,

in the unity of the Holy Spirit,

one God, now and for ever.

PRAYER SUGGESTIONS FOR THIS WEEK!

(from the Churches Together Website)

Mon

Let’s pray for all those who live off Roman Way and King Arthurs Way. Remember Arua urban Archdeaconry in Uganda.  We pray for the college, schools, hospital and prison there.

Tues

Pray for Bert Friths’ family today, and all those who mourn loved ones. We ask God to bless those in the Arua Archdeaconry parishes, and their ministers.

Wed

Let’s ask God to bless our Ministry Team today as they plan the services and in all they do to bless us and bring us closer to God. In our own diocese we pray for those who worship and live in Hurstbourne Prior, Longparish, St Mary Bourne and Woodcott.

Thurs

Thank God for music and those who lead us in worship and praise.  Thank God for the Enham Choir. Let’s pray for those who minister in the coastal region of Israel and also in Jordan.  For peace.

Fri

Please continue to pray for the Youth Group, Little Angels and Sunday School group. As we pray for Andrew and Johns recovery, let’s also pray for those around the world with no access to medical aid.

A PRAYING COMMUNITY… A small group of people in church are spending time praying for the needs of individuals. All requests are treated confidentially and only shared with the group and the ministry team. If you would like prayer support, for any reason, please contact Margaret R (0755-2762004) or Lucy (358156).

DAVID SMITH:  David Smith is now out of hospital and living in Andover again.  If you would like to visit David he would be thrilled to see you.  Please contact Margaret Rittman for his new address.
